Emilio Mendiola

Research Interests

• Emilio Agustin Mendiola is affiliated with the Computational Cardiovascular Bioengineering Laboratory, led by Dr. Reza Avazmohammadi. Mendiola's primary research is in the development of integrated experimental-computational models of the cardiovascular system under normal and diseased conditions for understanding the link between cardiovascular remodeling and cardiac function. His work is focused on the investigation of remodeling mechanisms and regenerative therapies in myocardial infarction, heart failure, and pulmonary hypertension.
