The incoming class is a small group of individuals selected carefully from a large pool of highly-qualified applicants, so we also congratulate you on your achievements leading up to this point. It will be our pleasure to work with you while completing your degree, and supporting the process of technical training and professional development that will help you succeed in this dynamic field.

This handbook is provided as information and guidance to BMEN students. It is intended to provide a complete view of the pathway to the various graduate degrees offered by the Department of Biomedical Engineering. While it does not constitute an official statement of departmental policy, to a large degree it accurately reflects these. Therefore, this handbook should be carefully reviewed and consulted regarding departmental expectations. Exceptions to degree requirements as specified in this handbook are rarely granted.
