Texas A&M University Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering undergraduate advisors are located in the Wisenbaker Engineering Building, Suite 223. Contact an advisor if you have any questions about your degree, courses or requirements. Requirements vary depending on your degree and the semester and year you started at Texas A&M.

Our electrical and computer engineering advisors are here to help with advice on:

  • course load
  • course transfer questions
  • electives
  • academic resources on the Texas A&M campus.

Students are highly recommended to schedule an appointment with an academic advisor. Please note that the advising office typically moves to open advising hours only during the following peak times such as

  • the week before school starts
  • the first week of school (add/drop period)
  • Q-drop deadline
  • pre-registration/open registration periods

Current Texas A&M electrical and computer engineering students can view degree plans, elective lists, and additional resources in the ECEN Undergraduate Advising Canvas page.
