The Electrical and Computer Engineering Student Ambassadors are a team of highly motivated and enthusiastic honors, undergraduate students who are competitively selected to serve as representatives for the department. Ambassadors provide a peer-to-peer perspective to prospective students, freshmen, and current electrical and computer engineering students.

As an ECEN Student Ambassador, students are able to refine leadership and interpersonal skills; network with department advisors, faculty, and industry; provide constructive feedback on department events, and promote the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Ambassador Activities

  • Lead weekly prospective student presentations
  • Participate in recruitment events held by the department, college, and university
  • Serve on student panels for freshman general engineers
  • Provide peer advising during registration times for current electrical and computer engineering students
