Your gift to the capstone program will fund materials and support staff. The gift options below are per semester, per team:
- $5,000

Previous Capstone Projects
Project Framework and Timeline
The capstone program framework includes a process for initiating and approving a project request. Once approved, teams of four to five students from the department are supervised by both faculty and industry mentors.
Process to Initiate and Approve Project Request
- Industry submits a project request.
- Request goes through initial review and refining of scope.
- Faculty mentors evaluate and match request with student teams.
- Approval of project request.
- Project begins as a collaboration between industry, faculty and student teams, playing different roles.
Timelines
- Submission of a project request for consideration - Fall (June) or Spring (Oct.)
- Evaluation of project requests - Fall (July) or Spring (Nov.)
- Notification of acceptance for the upcoming semester - Fall (Aug.) or Spring (Dec.)
