Academic Year 2024-2025

Gain exclusive access to outstanding computer science and computer engineering students via Industrial Affiliate Program (IAP) events and receive priority assistance to promote your company’s brand, events and jobs by joining the department’s program.

The IAP has four membership levels: three corporate and one government/nonprofit. The fees support activities such as IAP events, student-led events within the department and most importantly, provides IAP company-named scholarships.

Membership Levels

Platinum Level — $20,000

  • Includes eight or more company-named scholarships
  • Up to six company representatives may attend the IAP events [Up to two for the IAP Recruiting Event clinics]
  • Two tables at the CSE-Only Career Fair

Gold Level — $10,000

  • Includes four or more company-named scholarships
  • Up to four company representatives may attend the IAP events [Up to two for the IAP Recruiting Event clinics]
  • One table at the CSE-Only Career Fair

Silver Level — $5,500

  • Includes two or more company-named scholarships
  • Up to three company representatives may attend the IAP events [Up to two for the IAP Recruiting Event clinics]
  • One table at the CSE-Only Career Fair

Bronze Level—$2,500

  • For Government and NonProfit Organizations Only
  • Includes one company-named scholarship
  • Up to two organization representatives may attend the IAP events
  • One table at the CSE-Only Career Fair

Summary of Membership Benefits

  • Exclusive invitation to fall and spring IAP recruiting and networking events.
  • Interaction with CSE students through classroom speaking or panelist invitations and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Assistance with planning and promotion of your CSE talks, events and job announcements.
  • Company-named scholarships as per membership level. Companies receive the recipients’ names and email addresses, and the company representatives are seated with their recipients at the department’s Spring Banquet.
  • Influence curriculum. IAP members can give feedback on graduates, on teaching aims and approaches, and give insight to significant long-term industry trends.
  • Receive the CSE-Only Career Fair Resume Book.
  • Opportunity to support various student populations.
  • Opportunity to have a faculty liaison for research interest collaboration.
  • Company logo on IAP recognition monitor and Peterson lobby monitors.

About IAP

The IAP is comprised of industry representatives who have a professional interest in the success of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and are willing to help us form and achieve our goals.

The purpose of the program is to improve relationships between the department and industry. That is, to improve the department’s knowledge of industry needs and practices, to help the department better prepare students for real-world careers, to help place students and to enable more department/industry collaborations.
