How to Apply

Computer science and computer engineering students who are knowledgeable, with good academic performance, communication skills and the desire to help others succeed are encouraged to apply for open peer teacher positions.

Scheduling Format

If you have been selected to be a peer teacher for the upcoming semester, you will be asked to submit your schedule according to the following instructions.

  1. After registering, view your class schedule on Howdy and create a .txt file with your class meeting times in the following structure:

    • <FirstName> <LastName> <UIN>

    • [MTWTF <Start:Time>-<End:Time]

    • [MTWTF <Start:Time>-<End:Time]

  2. All of the start/end times for your classes should be in 24 hour time. Below is an example.

    • John Doe 123456789

    • MWF 8:00-8:50

    • TR 12:00-13.15

  3. Save the file as FirstName_LastName.txt.
  4. Finally, email the schedule to Dr. Leyk.
