Position Description:
Sanchez & Associates, Inc., located in McKinney, Texas, is seeking a certified EIT with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering in its Consulting Division. Experience with AutoCad Civil 3D preferred. Successful applicant will be self-motivated and have a desire to lead projects and work directly with clients in a creative land development focused environment.

Successful applicants will be working under the supervision of several Registered Professional Engineers working on projects that focus on land development: design plans for water lines, sewer lines, stormwater system, mass grading, etc.

Fluor | Co-op - Construction Engineering Aide I (Infrastructure) | Paid | Full-Time

Position Description:
The Construction Engineering Aide (Co-op) is an entry level position assigned to estimating, design coordination, project controls, change management or field engineering. Its purpose is to provide clerical and basic technical support for the function, department or project being supported. As experience is gained individual will provide support in an increased capacity with greater responsibility.• Assist in the operation of the function, department, or project being supported


  • Work under the direct supervision of a construction engineer, estimator, project controls lead or design manager to perform various assignments of a construction engineering nature, both technical and clerical
  • Receive specific and detailed instructions
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and global standards
  • Plan, organize and carry out assignments as directed
  • Adhere to and support Fluor’s health, safety and environmental and sustainability policies
  • Effectively develop and apply the core skills to the job
  • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
  • No required combination of education and directly related experience; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors and visitors
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province and federal/national statutes and guidelines 

  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications
  • Typically has one (1) year of project experience
  • Ability to speak/read multiple languages

  • Civil/Structural engineering program or construction management with interest in infrastructure/heavy civil industry
