Edelmiro "Ed" Muniz '67

Ed Muñiz is a 1967 graduate of Texas A&M University in the Department of Aerospace Engineering. Upon earning a master's degree in aerospace engineering in 1969, Mr. Muñiz  served a decorative career in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. He briefly entered the aerospace private sector before starting his own company supporting aerospace and engineering. Celebrating 20 years in business, MEI Technologies, Inc. (MEIT) has grown into an award-winning nationwide advanced technology company serving public and private sector customers in the aerospace, defense and biotechnology markets worldwide. As a Texas A&M alum, today Muñiz runs a successful business and gives back to the community.
