Alexandra Easley

Best Ph.D. Dissertation: Alexandra Easley has been recognized for her dissertation titled "Solution behavior and charge transfer kinetics of macromolecular radicals for energy storage." 


Raiyan Seede
Lai Jiang

Best Paper, Postdoctoral Fellow: Lai Jiang has been recognized for his work on the paper titled "Surface coverage-limited hydrogen uptake into nickel under cathodic charging." 


Ozge Kaynan

Excellence in Teaching: Ozge Kaynan has been recognized for her excellent work as a teaching assistant for the class MSEN 360 during the spring 2022 semester. During this course, she displayed a very good work ethic, organization skills and a passion for mentoring and teaching students. In addition to instructing and helping students complete their experiments during lab sessions, Kaynan was involved in grading and providing feedback on all group lab reports. 


Ryan Brito

Excellence in Teaching: Ryan Brito has been recognized for her excellent work as a teaching assistant for the class MSEN 360 during the spring 2022 semester. During this course, he displayed a very good work ethic, organization skills and a passion for mentoring and teaching students. In addition to instructing and helping students complete their experiments during lab sessions, Brito graded all 49 individual lab reports on FTIR spectroscopy and graded some quizzes. 


Ciera Cipriani

Excellence in Outreach: Ciera Cipriani has been recognized for her outreach efforts within the materials science and engineering department and to external industry, government agencies, students and members of the public. Cipriani is the president of the department's Graduate Student Advisory Council and has served as vice president and social chair of Women in Materials Science. Ciera also facilitated interactions with potential industry partners through her participation in the NSF I-Corps Program and with NASA through her graduate fellowship. She also enjoys mentoring graduate and undergraduate students at Texas A&M and beyond.
