A bachelor's degree in engineering is required for admission into the Semiconductor Safety certificate program. Texas A&M University computes GPR (Grade Point Ratio) on a four-point scale for each applicant. Generally, a minimum of 3.0 is required to be considered for admission.
The Semiconductor Safety program considers various factors when making graduate admission decisions, such as the quality of institutions previously attended, the content of past academic work, letters of recommendation, the applicant's statement of purpose, and writing samples.
At least one letter of recommendation needs to be submitted along with the application for admission.
