Coastal and Nearshore Processes

Coastal engineering starts with a firm understanding nature and the phenomena of coastal and nearshore processes. Researchers in this group focus on the improvement of environmental systems and operations such as hybrid coastal structures and dredging, tsunami mapping and coastline preservation.
