Civil & Environmental Engineering Advising Resources

Undergraduate students are assigned an academic advisor upon admission to the department. The academic advisor provides guidance for course selection and meets at least once per semester with the student to discuss progress towards their degree. In addition, faculty mentors are available to answer student questions related to the program, profession and career paths.

Academic information and advisors can be found on Canvas. Appointments are strongly encouraged.

Walk-in advising in DLEB 108 is in-person only from 1-4 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Manager of Undergraduate Programs Robert (Bob) Appleton and advisors Kegan Clark, Kasey Sims and Greg Stadter assist with course registration, force requests for department courses, evaluating potential change of major and transfer students, student records information including Q-Drop and holds, evaluating student performance, monitoring student progress towards fulfilling degree requirements, and course substitution requests.
