What is Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology?

Our Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology (MXET) program blends multiple engineering and technology disciplines to solve complex challenges in industry and product development. We emphasize mechatronics, combining mechanical, electrical, communications, control and computer systems. Unlike traditional fields centered on a specific area, MXET equips you with the versatility to succeed across diverse industries.

Two Tracks

Our MXET program offers two specialized tracks:

  • Mechatronics – Students earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology.
  • STEM Educator – Students earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Engineering Technology with teacher certification in engineering, math, and physical science for use in secondary education.
