Looking to get involved and make an impact for engineering staff? The Engineering Staff Advisor Council is seeking members just like you! There are currently several open positions that ESAC is looking to fill for the 2023-2024 year. If you are interested in joining the ESAC team, please send your name, contact information and a short statement on why you would like to join ESAC.

Our committees:

  • Advocacy and Culture Committee
  • Service and Outreach Committee
  • Staff Appreciation, Recognition and Funding Committee
  • Staff Workshop Committee

To apply, please send us your nomination materials by clicking here.

If you are interested in becoming a part of ESAC or nominating someone to be, here are some things to consider:

  • You may nominate yourself. Talk to your supervisor about joining. ESAC does utilize some of your time and you are required to get approval from your supervisor before running for the council. Nominations are collected and confirmed before all staff vote on the nominations for who represents them.
  • You may nominate someone; however, be sure they and their supervisor both support the nomination.
  • Nominees should be eligible per Article II of the bylaws and demonstrate a commitment to actively serve on the council and in their positions within the Texas A&M Engineering program.
  • ESAC members serve a two-year term.
  • ESAC meetings are the second Thursday of every month, typically in the mornings, so make sure to reserve that time.
