Women in Engineering offers opportunities year-round. While the goal of our programming is to increase overall recruitment and retention of female engineering students, any student may attend. Programs are designed to assist with the transition to college, the selection of a major and the development of study skills. Stop by the Offices of Equity and Inclusion in Zachry 300 to study in our gathering room! For more information, please contact weoutreach@tamu.edu.

Opportunities

WE CLEN 181

As part of the university’s Student Success Initiative, WE offers a student success seminar through the College of Engineering’s First-Year Experience (FYE) course (CLEN 181). While the course content is focused on assisting female engineering students as they connect with university resources, meet other students and stay up to date on WE programs and events, any student may sign up for the class. Speak to your advisor to register before sections fill up!

WE Ambassadors Program

Get involved with WE ambassadors! WE recruits and trains current students to volunteer for WE events and assist in college-wide efforts. Talk to other students, parents and people about engineering and Texas A&M. Become a WE ambassador to reach young students and get involved in your Texas A&M community. Any student may become a WE ambassador. Contact weoutreach@tamu.edu for more information on joining.
