Students and organizations can bring hands-on activities or design challenges to your location or just visit as guest speakers.

Each video needs to address the following judging criteria:

  • Problem definition (25 percent)
  • Approach or design methodology (25 percent)
  • Achieved or expected outcomes (25 percent)
  • Quality of video presentation (25 percent)

Guidelines

  • Open to all engineering undergraduates
  • Submissions may be individual or team
  • Award funds will be equally distributed to all team members

Categories

  • Senior Capstone Design
  • Non-capstone Projects (AggiE_Challenge, Design Competitions, Freshmen only teams and other projects)

Awards

  • Senior Capstone Design Projects 
    • Recognition Within Majors – for majors with 10 or more entries, the top videos will be recognized 
    • First prize - $1,000
    • Second prize - $750
    • Third prize - $500
    • Best in Major - for majors with 10 or more entries, the top videos will be recognized.
  • Non-Capstone Projects
    • First prize - $750
    • Second prize - $500
    • Third prize - $300
    • Best Videos Within Subcategory – Recognition of top videos for subcategories with ten or more video entries 

All winners will be recognized at a luncheon event with Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the early part of the spring semester. No team will be awarded more than one award.
