College-level Graduate Admission Requirements

All graduate engineering applications will be submitted using EngineeringCAS, a centralized application service.

Graduate Admissions

The Department of Nuclear Engineering is not requiring GRE test scores for admission to the summer 2021, fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters.

Admission into the Department of Nuclear Engineering graduate program is based upon many factors including GPA, GRE scores, letters of recommendation and the statement of purpose. Admission decisions are recommended to our department head by our graduate application committee who meet periodically throughout the year. Funding decisions are separate from admissions decisions and will be communicated through a departmental letter to the student.

Admission Deadlines

Students who wish to be considered for funding must meet our internal departmental deadlines. All application materials must be completed by the stated deadline. Applicants are encouraged to submit documents to the admissions office four weeks prior to our departmental deadlines to accommodate for processing time.
