Radiological health minor

The Department of Nuclear Engineering offers a minor in radiological health engineering. Expanding and emerging nuclear applications have created a strong demand for specialists in radiological health engineering. Well-educated individuals are, and will be, required in all aspects of the nuclear power industry from mining all the way to disposal of wastes from spent fuel. There are needs for radiological health specialists in government, hospitals, educational institutions and private industry. This program at Texas A&M University is designed to give students a broad background so they will be able to assume positions in any area of the nuclear industry.
