The Zachry Department of Civil Engineering American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe student teams have qualified for their respective national competitions.

Dr. B. Don Russell, professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, has been named chair of the committee on membership of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE) in Washington, D.C.
