Dr. Mark H. Weichold, dean and CEO of Texas A&M University at Qatar and Regents Professor of electrical engineering, has been elected a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

A paper written by Dr. Bilal Mansoor, assistant professor in the Mechanical Engineering Program, and his research associate Jahanzaib Malik won third prize in the Annual Aluminum Symposium Competition 2014.

A 2010 paper written by Dr. Patrick Linke, professor and chair of the Chemical Engineering Program at Texas A&M University at Qatar, is now the fourth most-cited paper in the Elsevier journal Applied Thermal Engineering.
