Engineering Tech. & Industrial Distribution

The students will visit both Scotland and Germany throughout the time abroad. The course that students will take is going to utilize the industry visits to help them learn complexities of managing international supply chain. This will help the students understand sourcing, storing, production/manufacturing, and distribution aspects of supply chain management. There will be different tours, activities, and free time for students to experience the culture of the cities.

Aberdeen, Scotland; Berlin and Munich, Germany

Aberdeen is a port city in northeast Scotland. There are rolling hills and mountains in the west and cliffs and shores in the east. There is plenty of wildlife, and a Maritime Museum, with interactive exhibits on the historic local shipping, fishing and oil industries. Berlin is Germany’s capital and most cultural center. It is known for its numerous cultural institutions, many of which enjoy international reputation. Munich the capital of Bavaria, is home to centuries-old buildings and numerous museums.

Eligibility & Requirements

Admission to this program is competitive and availability is limited. Applications will be evaluated on February 1, 2017. Evaluation will be based on academic performance, application package materials, and program goals. Only complete applications that meet all minimum admissions criteria will be accepted for evaluation.

Students who desire to study abroad in Brazil must have:

  • Minimum of 2.5 GPA,
  • Good academic standing with university,
  • Approval of advisor, and
  • Attendance at ALL program specific orientations.
