  2. Operational Amplifiers
    • Basic linear circuits employing operational amplifiers
    • Instrumentation amplifier – differential and common mode gain, and CMRR
    • 1st and second order filters –lowpass, bandpass and highpass
    • OPAMP finite parameters – input and output impedance, finite DC gain and their effects
    • Open loop and closed loop parameters – gain, input impedance and output impedance
  3. Diodes
    • Basic non-linear model
    • Linear models and Taylor series expansions
    • Rectifiers, peak detectors and other non-linear applications
    • AC-to-DC conversion – half and full wave rectifiers and filters, ripple
  4. Bipolar Junction Transistor
