  • Message to freshmen: College will be the start of something new and these next couple of years will be what you make them. There will be tears, there will be laughter, late nights and naps, and it won't be easy. However, there are tons of resources out there to help you succeed, like the peer mentors, don't be afraid to come and talk to us. We will always be there to help. One thing I have learned is that it is better to face difficulty together than alone.

  • Message to freshmen: I’m a first generation Aggie (Class of 2020!) and have spent half of my life in the state of Washington. I have spent lots of times working with computers, but I can try to help with any kind of problem you have. In high school I was a member of the NHS, played the tuba, and participated in UIL academics. I run triathlons, dive, and play racquetball. I’ve spent many hours communicating with international students, playing video games, and slaving over my forge. I’m a bit of an introvert, but feel free to talk to me about anything!

  • Message to freshmen: My father only ever gave me one piece of advice, and now I will pass it on to you. Go to class, every class, every day. Don’t skip labs. You never know what you might miss. The teacher might go over every test question in class one day, or there will be an opportunity for you to get free points. Go to class.
