Industry Information

We invite you to join us for the 6th annual Engineering Project Showcase, a major annual event designed to showcase the innovative team project work of engineering undergraduates to industry.

More than 200 student projects will be on display highlighting the work of over 1,000 engineering students. During the showcase, you will have the opportunity to visit with student teams from all engineering majors and discuss their projects. Projects on display are from the following categories:

  • Senior Capstone Design – Graduating seniors from majors such as BAEN, BMEN, ECEN, ENTC, CSCE, ISEN, MEEN, and others.
  • AggiE_Challenge - Multidisciplinary teams consisting of freshman to seniors presenting their work on grand engineering challenges.
  • Design Competitions – Various student design teams competing at national design competitions.
  • Course Projects –Student teams presenting project work completed in engineering courses, including select freshman teams.

Attend the Showcase

If you are unable to serve as a judge but would like to attend the event, please fill out the industry registration form. This will allow us to prepare a Showcase packet for you which includes information on all the projects and students participating in the event.

Serve as a Judge

Judges are an integral part of the Engineering Project Showcase and we invite you to sign up as a judge.  As a judge, you will be assigned about five student projects and will have the opportunity to discuss the projects in detail with the teams and evaluate them based upon a provided judging rubric. Judging five teams will require about an hour and a half, which leaves you with plenty of time to view other student projects. All judges are provided with a complimentary luncheon. Industry registration form will be available in early spring 2018.

Sponsor the Engineering Project Showcase

The Engineering Project Showcase provides great opportunities for industry sponsors to raise visibility for their organization. Sponsorship levels include Gold ($10K), Silver ($5K), and Bronze ($2.5K).  For more details on sponsorship opportunities, please email us at
