Engineering Academy at Alamo Colleges District: Securing Your Admission

Eligibility

The Engineering Academy is for first-time, full-time students and continuing students that have achieved a high school diploma or equivalent and are pre-calculus or calculus ready as determined by Alamo Colleges District. Students interested in the Texas-Chevron A&M Engineering Academy at Alamo Colleges District must first secure admission to Alamo Colleges District

First-time, full-time students should contact Ms. Holly Brown at hbrown2@alamo.edu to begin the application process. Students must take engineering, math, and science courses at Northeast Lakeview College.

First-time and continuing students already enrolled at Alamo Colleges District who wish to participate in the Engineering Academy program should contact Mr. Allen Miller at amiller142@alamo.edu to begin the application process. Students must take engineering, math, and science courses at Northeast Lakeview College.

Alamo Colleges District will provide pre-qualified students the link to the Texas A&M Engineering Academy application. Students should submit the Texas A&M Engineering Academy application and all supporting credentials to the Texas A&M Office of Admissions by June 30. Successful applicants will receive an offer of admission from Texas A&M University to the Engineering Academy at Alamo Colleges District and will be advised on how to accept the offer and register for courses.

Students admitted and enrolled in the Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy program are engineering students in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University and enrolled at Alamo Colleges District. Once enrolled, all courses must be completed through Alamo Colleges District and Texas A&M University-College Station.
