Halliburton Engineering Global Programs (HEGP) will award a scholarship of $1,000 to select Texas A&M University College of Engineering students. The scholarship application will be open from Oct. 15, 2020 through Nov. 15, 2020, to students who require financial assistance for a global program occurring in 2021.
The primary purpose of the scholarship is to provide selected students with a scholarship prior to them having selected a global opportunity. The award will be available for use during the summer and fall terms of 2021.
The Scholarship
- Awards will be provided in the amount of $1,000.
- If selected, students will be notified by Dec. 1, 2020.
- The scholarship will be awarded for the study abroad program of student’s choice.
- Funds will be posted to your student account and should be used for your global program.
- Funds are forfeited if the student does not participate in a 2021 global opportunity.
- The scholarship is both needs/merit-based. Some merit-based scholarships may require a minimum GPA of 3.2. Free Application for Federal Student Aid is required for needs-based scholarships.
Individuals Eligible to Apply
- Undergraduate students enrolled in the Texas A&M College of Engineering
- Students possessing a minimum grade point average of 2.5
Application Process
- Complete the HEGP Scholarship student information form.
- Complete the university-wide scholarship application.
- Both must be completed by Nov. 15, 2020.
