Entry-to-a-major (ETAM) information for students in College Station, Galveston and McAllen:

The entry-to-a-major (ETAM) process utilizes a priority method that is designed to place students in the highest rank major possible based upon student performance and each major’s capacity.

Students must apply to three majors with the option to apply to a fourth and fifth major. Majors must be ranked in order of preference. Students are strongly encouraged to apply during the semester they plan to successfully complete MATH 152, PHYS 206, and ENGR 216 with a C or better.
