Safety Manual

The Engineering Safety Policy (estb. Feb-1996) adopts, by reference, the TAMU Safety Manual for activities and facilities of the Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES) and the Look College of Engineering.Over 98% of TEES operations are housed in TAMU facilities in the Bryan & College Station community. It is, thus, appropriate to implement a single, consistent standard for performance. Stand-alone TEES operations outside the B/CS community will comply with the provisions of the TAMU Safety Manual. TEES operations on other campuses will comply with the applicable EH&S requirements on the host campus.

The Engineering Program reserves the right to establish additional requirements on a case-by-case basis as identified through Project Safety Analysis (PSA), inspections, audits, reports, etc, in order to abate hazards, reduce risk, and aid in achieving our goal of a safe & healthful environment for scholarship & research.
