The Engineering Honors Community of Scholars (ECOS) is an optional living learning community for engineering honors students. The ECOS Leadership team is responsible for creating the intellectual and close-knit climate that characterizes the residential community. ECOS Fellow

  • Serve as a role model and mentor to all students in ECOS
  • Develop and execute residence-based programming along with Engineering Honors staff
  • Create an intellectual and FUN climate

ECOS Coach 

  • Participate in ECOS as an engaged resident
  • Connect freshmen to the community and provide light mentorship

Community Council Member

  • Create educational and social events
  • Encourage participation in Aggie traditions
  • Serve as a liaison to the Residential Housing Association and the Department of Residence Life
  • Opportunity to serve in a competitive leadership position (even as a first year student)
  • Elections will be held in the Fall - ask your RA!

Academic Peer Mentor

  • Live in the residence hall and help students succeed academically
  • Offer peer tutoring and academic coaching sessions
  • Lead presentations and panels on various study skills and techniques
  • 10% housing discount
  • hourly starting compensation of $8.05/hr
  • Senior Academic Peer Mentors have single rooms
