Current Students

The Department of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University averages more than 290 undergraduates and 130 graduates. Once combined, the two programs together form the largest nuclear engineering program in the nation.

More importantly, our academic program educates and prepares nuclear professionals for careers that span the full gamut of the nuclear engineering discipline. Accordingly, the department's faculty have a wide spectrum of expertise and research interest, and support an impressive list of research facilities. Students in our program have access to a broad range of cutting edge research topics in the fields of nuclear engineering and health physics.
