Texas A&M groundbreaking set for Dec. 5

Texas A&M Engineering will break ground on its newest building, the Emerging Technologies Building, Dec. 5 at 2 p.m.

The ceremony will be at the corner of University Dr. and Bizzell St. on campus, across from the Zachry Engineering Center. Texas A&M’s Dwight Look College of Engineering, the Board of Regents of The Texas A&M University System and Texas A&M President Elsa Murano will host the event.

The state-of-the-art facility, budgeted at $104 million, will provide more than 212,000 gross square feet of laboratories, classrooms and offices to advance Texas A&M’s work in emerging technologies.
