Dr. Mark Holtzapple, professor in the Artie McFerrin Department of Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University, was honored for patents he received in 2014, during the Patent and Innovation 2015 Awards Luncheon held May 8 at the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center.
The chancellor and president of Texas A&M University presided over the ceremony.
“I am thrilled that Texas A&M recognizes the value of innovation, invention, and commercialization," said Holtzapple. "These activities are essential if our society is to meet the challenges of the future."
Last year, Holtzapple received patents for the following:
