Mr. Bob Nichols, longtime executive at Freese and Nichols and graduate of the Zachry Department of Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University, passed away Friday, May 8 in Arlington, Texas.
Mr. Nichols graduated from A&M with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering. He was with Freese and Nichols for 67 years where he served as President, Vice Chairman, and President Emeritus. Mr. Nichols was very supportive of the civil engineering department and served on the advisory council. He was recognized as a Distinguished Graduate of the department in 2000.
