Sherry Escalante, manager of faculty services in the Office of the Vice Chancellor and Dean of Engineering, and Holly Toschlog, business coordinator in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, are two of the 15 individuals selected to receive the 2014-15 President’s Meritorious Service Award.
Escalante and Toschlog will receive their award during a ceremony Feb. 25 at 9:30 a.m. in Rudder Theater. Nominations for the award were submitted in the fall, and an anonymous committee comprised of representatives from across campus, selected the winners.
Each individual recipient receives a $700 cash award, a commemorative plaque and a lapel pin. Awards are funded through the generosity of The Association of Former Students.
