The Department of Mechanical Engineering hosted its Fall 2014 Industrial Advisory Council (IAC) meeting on October 17th at the Mechanical Engineering office Building at Texas A&M University. The meeting was attended by distinguished board members of the IAC, who are leaders in industry and government agencies, and guide the department by providing a broad perspective on the changing requirements for engineering education and identifying new opportunities in research. The IAC helps the department to gain insight toward aligning its curriculum to be in pace with the latest industrial trends.
