Golf Cart/SMVThe Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University took delivery in June on a 2011 Presidential Club Car (aka Golf Cart/SMV - Slow Moving Vehicle) from Rick's Golf Cars in College Station. The Golf Cart/SMV was presented to the department by its Advisory Council members Eric Marin and Mark Huse and will be used to escort prospective students and parents, donors, speakers, and visitors in general around campus.

"Another frequent use of the Golf Cart/SMV," said CSE Facilities Coordinator Bruce Veals, "will be the transportation of computing equipment." CSE has facilities in four on campus buildings: H.R. Bright Building, Olin E. Teague Research Center, Reed McDonald Building, and the Emerging Technologies Building.

Veals is responsible for the Golf Cart/SMV check out procedure and maintenance. Before heading to Bruce's office to sign it out and tour campus, you'll need to know the authorized campus travel paths and parking locations. SMV training is available through Texas A&M's Single Sign On.
