On Thursday, July 10, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Texas A&M University hosted the CSE Ice Cream Social in order to showcase the new back porch of the Harvey R. “Bum” Bright building. Marble Slab Creamery catered the event and dozens of students, faculty and staff attended including visiting TAMU Research for Undergraduates (REU) students and members of various CSE student organizations such as AWICS and CSEGSA.
“The ice cream social was a great opportunity to mingle with students and professors from across the department,” said Jory Denny, CSEGSA president. “It was a nice, relaxing and fun event!”
The CSE Ice Cream Social was the very first event to be held outside at our new student collaboration space. Please stop by soon and enjoy the tables and added shade provided by the umbrellas!
