The Texas A&M Formula SAE team will be competing in the 2014 Formula SAE Lincoln Student Design competition that will be held at the Lincoln Airpark in Lincoln, Neb., June 18-21.
The Formula SAE Series competitions challenge teams of university undergraduates and graduate students to conceive, design, fabricate, test and develop, and compete with small formula style competition vehicles.
There are few restrictions on the overall vehicle design, allowing teams the maximum design flexibility and freedom to express their creativity and imaginations.
Teams typically spend from as little as eight months up to two years designing, building, testing and preparing the vehicles before the competition.
