Boeing partners with Texas A&M aerospace engineering for Camp SOAR

Photo of SOAR studentsThe Department of Aerospace Engineering at Texas A&M University has partnered with the Boeing Company for the 2013 Camp SOAR (Summer Opportunities in Aerospace Research).

Camp SOAR is a five day-summer camp designed to expose high school juniors and seniors who are interested in aerospace engineering to the research and facilities in Texas A&M’s Department of Aerospace Engineering. During the week, students will be able to explore the field though design projects and departmental tours. They will have the opportunity to interact with current students and world-renowned faculty.

Boeing recognized the value this program provides high school students interested in learning more about aerospace engineering and will provide monetary and personnel support for the program.
