Texas A&M Engineering moves up in latest graduate survey

Texas A&M Engineering's graduate program ranked 11th overall  and sixth among public institutions in the latest U.S. News & World Report survey, "America's Best Graduate Schools 2014."

The ranking is one place higher than in 2012, when the college ranked 12th overall.

Individual programs ranked were: Aerospace Engineering, 9 (6 public); Agricultural Engineering 5 (4); Biomedical Engineering, 27 (13); Chemical Engineering, 29 (17); Civil Engineering, 13 (8); Computer Engineering, 16 (11); Electrical Engineering, 19 (12); Industrial Engineering, 12 (8); Mechanical Engineering, 17 (9); and Nuclear Engineering, 4 (3).

Computer Science, ranked in the Sciences category, ranked 47th overall and 27th among public institutions. Petroleum Engineering was last ranked in 2008, and was second nationally and second among public institutions.
