Juan Manuel Lamparero of Mexico recently gifted a $25,000 industrial and systems engineering scholarship at Texas A&M University.

This gift will be funded through the Texas A&M Foundation to create the Veronica and Juan Manuel Lamparero Endowed Scholarship.  This endowment will provide one or more scholarships to full-time students in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Juan Lamparero graduated from Texas A&M University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering. He is the CEO for Industrial Solutions Technology, located in Mexico. In 2007 he received the Aggie 100 Entrepreneur award.
