Ryan Vaughan
Ryan W. Vaughan has been named assistant director of
development with the Engineering Development Office at Texas
A&M University.
Vaughan will work with two of the 12 departments in the Dwight
Look College of Engineering: engineering technology and industrial
distribution, and industrial and systems engineering.
"We are very pleased to have Ryan join our
Engineering Development team. We feel certain that he will excel in
helping our prospective donors match their interests with the needs
of our departments and help them make an investment that will pay
dividends for our students for many years to come," said Don
Birkelbach, assistant vice president of development with the Texas
A&M Foundation, who heads the Engineering Development
Office.
Vaughan previously was an academic advisor in the university's
Department of Sport Management. His responsibilities included
ensuring that undergraduates took the correct courses and made
satisfactory progress, discussing curriculum options and providing
information on university and departmental procedures and
regulations.
Prior to that he was a business associate II in the athletics
business office on campus.
Vaughan holds two degrees from Texas A&M: a B.S. in sport
management (2007) and an M.S. in higher education administration
(2009).
