Gexpro CEO Williams to give ID lecture Sept. 3

Mitch Williams, president and CEO of Gexpro, will give a lecture Friday (Sept.3) at 1:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. in Room 701 of Rudder Tower at Texas A&M University.Mitch WiIliamsWilliams' talk, "Trends in Distribution: Rationalization, Commoditization and Globalization," is part of the Industrial Distribution Program's Distinguished Lecture Series.Gexpro is a $2.5 billion U.S.-based business headquartered in Shelton, Conn. Wayne, Ind. After leading the Cleveland and Houston branches, he was promoted to Commercial Six Sigma role based in Shelton. In January 2003, he was appointed midwest region manager and in January 2005 assumed the role of chief commercial director until his current appointment of president and CEO of Gexpro.Williams is a 1989 graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in industrial distribution.
