Borden joins Engineering Development Office

Brittany Borden, Texas A&M Class of 2006, has been named assistant director of development for the Texas A&M Engineering Development Office.Brittany Borden '06Borden will work with the departments of computer science and engineering, and electrical and computer engineering. Her responsibilities are to match donors and their interests with the departments' priorities to help students and faculty excel."We are very pleased to have Brittany join our talented team. With the current economic issues Texas A&M is facing, it is more important than ever to have a professional staff of development officers who help donors make investments that will keep our engineering programs strong," said Don Birkelbach, assistant vice president of development with the Texas A&M Foundation, who heads the Engineering Development Office.Borden previously worked two years for the Foundation's Planned Giving Office. As senior planning assistant, she coordinated with five development officers to manage day-to-day operations of the office.Borden is a graduate of Texas A&M University with bachelor's and master's degrees in agricultural economics.
