Research Interests

Biorobotics is the central theme of our research. We research embedding physical intelligence into mechanical systems by smart design, materials, processing, and advanced micro-manufacturing with the purpose of improving the system's capability. In particular, we are interested in applying this theme into the development of innovative biomedical devices and a paradigm shift of traditional medical procedures employing the developed systems.
