Graduate School 101

Each semester the college of engineering hosts Graduate School 101 - an informational designed to provide undergraduates information they need to help make informed decisions about attending graduate school upon completing an undergraduate degree.

Typical topics discussed:

  • Options after graduation
  • Benefits of pursuing a graduate degree
  • How to choose a graduate program
  • Admission/application process
  • Funding opportunities

In addition, a panel of current engineering graduate students will provide advice. This is also an opportunity for undergraduate students to ask questions and learn from their experiences of making the decision to attend graduate school and the transition from undergraduate to graduate level academics. Invited students are strongly encouraged to attend this informational to enable them to make the most informed decision possible regarding their future.
