The Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution Department offers a new undergraduate program with an emphasis in Mechatronics. Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field that includes a combination of mechanical, electrical, communications, control and computer systems. Based on its strengths in electronic systems, mechanical/manufacturing systems, and applied research activities, the Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution is well positioned to offer such a multidisciplinary curriculum.
For more information on this exciting and challenging program, contact the MXET program coordinator at email@example.com or visit with an academic counselor in Fermier Hall, Room 106. We plan to accept 20 students for initial entry into the major.
