Creating a Competitive Application

Hear from members of our Graduate Committee on tips for creating a competitive graduate school application to BME@TAMU.  We’ll discuss general tips for applying and talk specifically about what faculty in our department look for when reviewing applications.

Research Highlight: Bioinstrumentation, Sensing & Imaging

Research Highlight: Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering
When: Friday, November 10th, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. (central time)

Join us to hear from select BME@TAMU faculty about the exciting research in this field.  Our biomaterials faculty members are actively engaged in research that will help people overcome the limitations of age, injury and disease through the use of innovative materials that can repair or replace tissue; serve as artificial tendons, ligaments and heart valves; act as coatings for hip replacements; and even improve the way diseases such as diabetes are managed.

Learn more about the Master of Engineering in BME@TAMU, an experiential, learning-based degree designed to prepare engineers to enter the medical device industry.  Topics covered include the curriculum, required immersion experience, career paths that exist after graduation, and why this degree may be for you.
