The Texas A&M University College of Engineering at Texas A&M hosts several outreach events to promote graduate studies to undergraduate students, which include Graduate School 101 and the NSF-GRFP Fellowship Workshop.
Graduate School 101 is a workshop designed to give top undergraduates information they need to help make decisions regarding whether to continue on for graduate school or accept employment after graduation.
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Workshop aims to help applicants prepare outstanding fellowship applications. With the significant number of NSF Fellowship awards that have come to Texas A&M in recent years, the goal for this workshop is to continue this track record by providing student applicants with the necessary resources and guidance for developing successful applications.
Engineering Graduate Invitational is an event designed to recruit highly qualified U.S. residents and permanent residents (including underrepresented ethnic minority and women) and current Texas A&M engineering students who are currently college juniors, seniors, and first-year master's students for the Master's and doctoral programs in the College of Engineering.
Engineering Graduate Expo is an event for current STEM juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a doctoral degree. This will be an opportunity for students who are considering applying for a graduate degree to get an early look at Texas A&M University. Participants will hear from faculty and administrators on creating a competitive application, applying for funding opportunities, and finding the best graduate program for their individual needs. Students selected to attend will be considered for housing and travel funding.
